Karen was born and raised in Dover, Delaware where she graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

Karen is a member of Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors. She enjoys volunteering & community service. Karen also enjoys golfing, aerobics, photography, music, skating, and various church outreach activities.
